shades of blue

diana+ aviator camera / aqua druzy necklace / pantone mug
moon globe / topshop dress / christiaan van der klaauw watch
the mary-j platforms / recycled paper pencils / fox loafers

I am completely mesmerized with these shades of blue for this spring: duck egg blue (a gorgeous shade of blue that I came across reading Bergdorf Blondes two summers ago, such an entertaining and enjoyable chick lit book), mint, sage, sea foam green. These shades of blue do border on blue green, but I still consider them to be more blue than green. These shades of blue just remind me of Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel) in (500) Days of Summer. I've been meaning to get a lomography Diana+ camera for four years now, but I've been collecting so many antique cameras that I just haven't had the chance to purchase it. One day I do want to own this adorable The Aviator Diana+ Camera. Maybe I should invest in the Dreamy Diana Lens first, since it gives the same effect of the Diana, but it's for the DSLR and it will save me money in the long run.

I love looking at crystals. One time I was at this museum and I was stuck in the minerals and crystals section for two hours just staring at the glimmering crystals and stones. As much as the precious stones are beautiful, I prefer the gorgeous colors of semi precious stones more. My favorite semi precious stone is Celestine, it's just the beautiful shade of sky blue. The moon globe is just amazing. I've always loved cosmology. I used to love reading up and memorizing facts on our solar system. I was crushed when they demoted Pluto's planetary status. I love watches and I'm the type of person that relies heavily on a watch. Some people don't wear watches, which is understandable since we all have phones, but I've always loved wearing watches and it's the only thing I can wear on my wrist. I love rose gold watch faces with a night sky motif and Roman numerals. When I saw this watch, I knew this watch was absolutely amazing, although I've always aspired to own an Audemars Piguet and now a Christiaan van der Klaauw watch.

I need those platform shoes so badly. They look so comfortable and they would be great for spring. I need more spring shoes, since the weather has been so lovely for the past few days. I've been using mechanical pencils for the past ten years, but I would use these pencils in a heartbeat. What more do I need to say about these needlepoint fox loafers? How amazing are these shoes? I need them! Svpply is taking over my life! I want and need too many things. I do not want to become like Rebecca Bloomwood in Confessions of a Shopaholic, because that would not be good.

  2. That camera is wonderful! And I didn't know about the Diana lens, and something I'll definitely have to add to my wish list. (Which, camera gear wise, seems to show no signs of stopping any time soon D:)

Blue is my favourite colour of all time, so I love EVERYTHING you've put on this page, everything. I really don't know which I'd pick up first, given the choice. Lovely list. :)

  3. Oh my goodness I love these colors - and I love the way you present all of these images in little circles!

I know what you mean about staring and crystals for hours. I can lose track of time very easily if I stumble upon anything beautiful.
