analog sunday #1

First Analog Sunday Recap. 1) Woke up and read the introduction and first four poems in Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair by Pablo Neruda. 2) Wrote my first entry in my Sunday journal, going to write down Word of the Day from dictionary.com each day in an effort to improve my vocabulary. 3) Bought art supplies at Utrecht. 4) Cooked an amazing meal. 5) Painted a Shirley Temple peony inspired by Christie's Watercolors, while listening to Chopin; image three by Shy. 6) Blew bubbles by the window for ten minutes. 7) Went out for sushi at Sakana. 8) Saw The Fighter.

  4. I love this idea. The days go by so much slower when I refrain from using my computer...

  5. Wow an analog Sunday sounds genius, and it feels like you can get so much done! Sadly I think the powers of Facebook and Tumblr are too much for me...but I think I might start small and try that idea! Maybe I'll get some sewing done then :)

  6. PS That painting is gorgeous! I'm so jealous of your painting skills, I took a few years of art class and I was always really bad at it!
